Seven Month Update

Ben has been on all fours lately swaying back and forth. These last few days, he's been scooting backwards and you can tell he gets frustrated that he's not moving in the right direction. Saturday, he "crawled" for the first time! He was able to move one arm and one leg forward before falling. Sunday, he was able to scoot both legs forward at the same time before falling. He's getting the hang of it and will probably be out of control within the next month or so! Jed's mom says that Ben has more energy than Jed did...so we will probably have our hands full!

Yesterday, Ben (and the rest of us!) got to celebrate his Great Grandpa Jack's 90th birthday. Happy Birthday, Jack!

This is the amazing cake that was at the party with a picture of Jack when he was in the Coast Guard. I have a feeling that Ben will look very much like this when he grows up since Ben resembles Jed who resembles Jack (espeically the lips)! :)
