Two Years Old!

Ben is two years old! We can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were holding him for the very first time swaddled in his pink and blue hospital blanket. Now at two years old, he has an extensive vocabulary and great understanding, amazing sense of humor and an energetic love for learning and life. He loves his family and pets dearly. His favorite foods are fruits (berries and grapes in particular) and pastas. He knows “all” of his colors (red, green, blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow, white, black and sometimes brown). He likes to play outside, sing (usual favorites are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and his ABCs) and especially loves his collection of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. His newest form of entertainment is using an IPad which he can navigate all on his own to his favorite activities we have to his favorite YouTube videos. Just last week, he moved into a new bedroom and a new “big boy” (twin-sized) bed which is he very proud of…his old room and crib will be his little brother’s.

He shared his two-year birthday party with his daddy this year at White Deer Park. His cake design was matched to his party invitations, which he picked out himself. He had a blast with all of his family in one place and was completely tuckered by the end of the day. Some favorite pictures below:
