On May 21, Ben turned one!! What a wonderful year it has been! It is so hard to comprehend that just a year ago, our days and nights were turned upside down and inside out by a little bundle of joy named Benjamin. He is such a blessing and more wonderful than we ever imagined.
Since the day he could hold his head on his own, he has loved standing and jumping. We knew he would be walking by his first birthday. We were right! One step turned into two steps turned into full blown walking! He has accomplished so much in the last year and we are so proud of his development.
We had a fun birthday celebration with family and friends in our backyard. He had a blast. There was a slight tennis shoe theme for the party in honor of his shoe obsession he has had since nearly day one!
