Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Christmas was super fun.
We celebrated mom/Dah, Grandmama/Gigi and dad's/Pop's birthdays on the 23rd with nearly our entire family. Although this is a tradition that we have done for as long as I can remember, each year gets more and more fun. Our family rocks!

We spent Christmas Eve at Jed's dads/Grandpa's house. Ben had lot of fun playing in the backyard with his cousins and Redd (the dog) and watching airplanes fly by. I made a delicious Heaven & Hell cake (angel food cake and devils food cake with a peanut butter filling and chocolate icing!) that I was really proud of but could hardly eat because it was so rich! Tracy gave me a huge bag of Jelly Bellys... so they have become Ben's new obsession.  He even added them to his new lists of words ("jayee bean").
Christmas day, we woke up and went to see all the gifts Santa brought Ben. He brought a few practical things like new clothes, socks and shoes and some really fun things like marble racing cars, bouncing ball, books, drums and Spongebob-related things. Ben wasn't really sure what to think of it all. Then, we exchanged gifts between the three of us and had a yummy Christmas breakfast.
 We spent the rest of the day at Dah/Pop's house and then that night at Granna/Barry's house. Throughout the day, Ben would open presents here-and-there but he was distracted most of the time by all of the commotion going on. Nonetheless, he loved all of the clothes and toys he got and has especially enjoyed them all throughout the last week.
2012 is just around the corner. Heres to another wonderful year spending time with our family!
